Sims eating and drinking quite slowly......

Each time when i requesting sim to eat food and drink beverage, they always eat and drink over 1 hrs. That make my sims less time to perform any activities.

Did development team can release a update patch to decrease their eating drinking time soon?

Thx  ๐Ÿ™‚

@BlackjackWidow, thanks for the wonderful explanation of how and why this happens Sims left at home when you follow a Sim to another lot! ๐Ÿค“โค๏ธ That makes a little bit of sense why they are never actually doing what their lowest bar is when you get back home to them.  I've always wondered why they are taking a bath, on the computer, or dancing when they are about to collapse from exhaustion, pee themselves, and starve to death! ๐Ÿคจ๐Ÿ˜ƒ  I also wasn't aware that you could click on the "take care of needs" icon more than once and that it would change to the need that is the lowest until you tell it otherwise! ๐Ÿคจ True, we shouldn't have to micromanage our Sims who are at home, but at least we can get them to change the need that they are taking care of!  Thanks! ๐Ÿ˜‡

You're welcome, @PugLove888  - once I learned that explanation it calmed some of my frustration with the whole thing. Hopefully it makes it easier for others, too.

  • I mentioned in another thread and am actually a bit shocked people donโ€™t have MC mod installed (I assumed mostly everyone did lol)

Anyway that will pretty much solve eating taking to much time.

Go to the computer and pick the option to change in game minutes to be slower.

The default is 25 and I would suggest 35 but you can do whatever you think feels right. The day will be longer but of course your sim wonโ€™t slow down. So just set the option till you feel your sims eating time is appropriate.

    Any issues, just holler ๐Ÿค—

@Spills78, not everyone wants to play with Mods! ๐Ÿ˜‰ I don't because I find them too much trouble to maintain, not to mention I ran into problems with them in TS3 so I got rid of them. ๐Ÿ˜ž  Also, many, if not most, of the problems people come here needing help with are Mod related. Then there are the people who are young and their parents might not allow them to play with Mods. Finally, we aren't even allowed to directly link to sites that have Mods since while they are allowed by EA, they can't be supported by EA.

A lot of people have fun playing with them, like yourself. ๐Ÿ™‚  But they are not for everybody, so please don't assume everyone has them or even wants them. ๐Ÿคจ

    Happy Simming! ๐Ÿฅณ

  • @dickydsNow I prefer to play vampires than human sims. Once if you get used to vampire sim life, it's so hard to come back to human life because they are so fast, it takes only 40 sim mins to drink other sims' plasma. It's way too fast to move to other places. I love their speeds. I praise vampire sims..!! :D I appreciate EA release vampire game pack.

But one thing.. there's one thing very slow with vampire sim. It's having drinks. Now it takes ages to drink just one plasma jane about 5 or 6 hrs. I wish this would be fixed soon.

    Hey, Simmers!
