Sims Learning Romantic Boundaries for Sims they are not even socializing with

This has happened a couple of times recently. This time I was able to get a good screenshot of it showing that there is no group discussion happening and that nobody is near my sims. They are just dealing with each other. You can see the wall notification that popped up that my sim learned someone's romantic boundaries. It's just bizarre.
