Sims saves and packs

I just recently started playing the sims again on the same account I’ve had for a long time and all of my packs are deleted and when I try to make a family and save the family the next time I come into the game everything is deleted. I updated the sims I repaired the app and I followed the instructions on how to fix it but it still doesn’t work. How do I fix the saving issue and how do I get my packs back? I spent so much money and they are all gone and require payment to download again.

    For the packs issue:
Did you purchase all your content directly from EA?  Or do you have any that you purchased from another vendor, like Steam or Epic?  There are specific ways to manage content purchased through those secondary vendors.
If you purchased all your content directly from EA, make sure the game is closed and follow these steps:
    - Go into the EA app, click on the three-line menu in the upper left then click Help and App Recovery. Then click Clear Cache which will also restart the app.
    - After that, go to your Library in the EA app and click the three-dot menu on the TS4 icon, and click Repair. Allow the repair to run for all packs.
    - Open the game and check to see if your packs are available.

    For the saves issue:
Do you have any automatic cloud storage enabled, like OneDrive?  Or do you use an external drive to store your game files and saves?  Either of these may cause a conflict when launching the game because the launcher by default will always look for the Electronic Arts folder within the Documents folder of your PC; typically found in the C: drive.  So we need to know where your game files and TS4 user folders are located.  If you do use cloud or external drive storage, there are ways to either disable the automatic saves to cloud for the TS4 folder or to tell the launcher where to look if they're not in the standard C: drive.
