Small Business Venue

I'm playing in Nordhaven and the trenchcoated "man" recommended I get a new small business venue, but when trying to purchase one, my game is getting stuck on a screen asking me to "select a season to play in".  you can select each individual season, but it keeps going back to the same thing.  Its forcing me to exit the game or exit to main menu to resume game play.  

just now when i exited to main menu, resumed game play - tried to go to manage world - it asked me to select a season again. it worked this time, but i dont remember selecting a season -- now since i installed Seasons... 

am i lucky or is anyone else having this issue?
