[Solved] LE during game launch

My game is acting up too.  I'm able to get into it but I'm not able to bring up the social interactions wheel when clicking on my own sim or when clicking on newborns. I have to hope that one of my sims will go feed and change my baby before social services shows up and removes them from the home. I'm also not able to pay any of my bills because every time I try it says they aren't due yet even though I am getting notifications on my notification wall that my bills are due.  This all started after the disastrous July update.  My social interaction wheel is showing up with pictures rather than words on some of the options and I don't even know what it means.  I tried playing on a new save, changing lots in my old saves, starting a new family.  Nothing is working.  I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game.  This is really frustrating because I never had these types of issues when I played after buying a hard copy disc.  Ever since everything went digital, all these problems have been occurring and I pay too much for this to continue.  It's starting to become unenjoyable to play.
