Soulmate relationship status bug

My sims are in a relationship, have max friendship and romance levels, and are best friends. They are stuck at lovers and will not change to soulmates. I’ve tried cheats to lower friendship levels and romance levels and then raise them again, and it isn’t working (it worked the last time I experienced this bug, but not this time). I’ve tried asking to be friends and then getting back together. I’ve tried doing these on various different lots. I’ve tried removing one of them from the household. Nothing has worked. Neither of them have any other best friends. I restarted my PS5 (I’m on console 😔) and the game and it’s still doing this. Can someone help me out?

    Hi, did your sim give a key or be given key? If they have 'Key Holder' relationship in their profile, take a key and check that their 'Key Holder' relationship is deleted. After that, try to fix their relationship with cheat code.

    Note: It's a little bother, if you owned both of City Living pack and Get Famous pack, you need to take key on the same lot type when the gave key. You're console player, so it's best to try without saving until you've successfully repaired the relationship.
