@JonaO703 I've thought for some time that the clothing, etc should all just be opened up so that we can then set it ourselves. Maybe in Game Options it could have an option like "Group CAS items by Gender" and "Group CAS items by Weather" because those are the 2 options that I get tired of removing in CAS myself, since it has to be done by Sim and often by Category too.
So if I want to set Masculine clothing for Athletic I'll do that, but then I'll switch to Hot Weather and (because I play with weather effects off) I have to set Masculine clothing again. I use the Masculine jewellery a lot for Female Sims and I have to set those for each category. It adds so much repetitive clicking and CAS sticks a lot on Xbox, so I have to keep selecting back up to unfreeze it as well. It can add a lot of time to CAS.
If it was all opened up it would save all the extra click click swear click swear a bit more click.🤬
Some items are duplicated anyway in each category so it would remove all of those duplicates. There are several items that appear in Masculine and Feminine CAS options.
It would also have added benefits for players that have less packs, because it gives them more CAS options for all of their Sims.

@simsplayer818 Hi! I agree that the outfit filters could use some tweaks. This was meant specifically for setting the clothing preference in the Sim Identity menu. Apologies for not being more clear. :-(
Currently, we're limited to choosing one preference but it would be nice if I could set the default outfit filter to either or both masculine and feminine.

It's either or and that could do with being just done away with altogether I think. I don't know if it's the same on all formats but the last time I checked I had to select one of those boxes, they were mandatory whereas others can be left unchecked. So I found the only way to really customise it was in CAS, which takes time.
Particularly with non binary Sims I've mentioned this before on the subject of uniforms I feel like non binary Sims are a great addition but there are still too many binary choices in the game. The customisation panel there has been opened up already in so many ways but the clothing wasn't part of that and it doesn't quite make sense as it is.
It's a subject close to my heart because of a couple of young people I know and I've totally been guided by their experiences. The game is certainly moving in the right direction but if they could just fix this particular problem it would be just about there, I think. But it would be helpful in other ways too, just to open up all the clothing anyway.
