Suggestion: "Lock" Moveable Objects Option

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
I want to talk about something you don't mention above: Yes, this is a suggestion.
How accessible is the current experience? It's overall fine, though it could be better with some adjustments.
Summarize what in the product is difficult to use. Moveable objects on the lot, especially when not intending to drag/drop them.
How is this making it more difficult? It's moving objects inadvertently when in mid-game; this can also interrupt queued Sim actions if they were already queued to use the moved object. (For example, the Yoga Mat, the Microphone, or the Meditation Stool.)
How can we reproduce this experience? Attempt to utilize objects that are moveable; depending on your grip or how your mouse works, you may run into situations where you accidentally move/nudge the object, which will de-select it, and also clear all queued actions the Sim already has queued up related to the object.

Full Description: When working with objects that are moveable or able to be dragged/dropped by the mouse, I find myself having issues from time to time where I will accidentally "grab" the object with the left-click of the mouse, and if I let go of the left-click too suddenly, the object places as if I was moving it; this can be a hassle if I am attempting to queue up multiple interactions with a moveable object, or can be accidental if I am trying to sort through objects on the lot. I find this to be even more bothersome on lots that are more compact, as I can have multiple "moveable" objects close to each other, which makes the margin of error for such clicking around much greater. The recommendation I have is to provide a "lock" function to Moveable objects such as instruments, yoga mats, microphones, etc.; it does not have to be to such items as harvestable objects, but something so that issues where accidentally moving objects becomes less of an issue.

To solve simply do not drag with the mouse as you click on the item.

Not exactly the type of response I was looking for; the issue I was bringing up was to provide a method to avoid issues for it.

    Can't say I didn't ask, at least.
