Super Rich Super Villain feedback
Okay, I really enjoyed this one. My Making Money save is languishing at 500K and I'll get back to it, honest... I mean, the Making Money sim has Fabulously Wealthy and a money tree and is exploiting the yard sale system, it's just kind of repetitive at this point. So, 500K is more of a goal.
I did have some issues in that instead of creating a new Sim, I decided to use my Black Widow (who has level 10 charisma and all the most seductive rewards like Beguiling and Great Kisser, but had very little logic, etc.). She developed the Outdoorsy lifestyle in her old save after marrying and offing Thomas Watson (RIP--literally I inscribed his tombstone "I feel bad"). Because she comes with an Aunt, I had to move her aunt out in order to play. Alas. I did eventually move the aunt back in; she's an unemployed elder and didn't come with any money. I think the game disapproved, as it tried to kill Aunt Myrtle several times (murphy bed, sent her to automously play basketball while we were flirting it up (for fun rather than profit this time!) until she was dangerously overtired, she developed hysteria at the Humor and Hijinks Festival, etc.). But honestly, my Black Widow amuses me but I genuinely love Aunt Myrtle so I really wanted her in on the save. Anyway. Outdoorsy + Secret Agent job, she wasn't loving it but she did okay.
I didn't have her marry for money...okay, okay, except Jacques Villareal, her first victim in her original save... because been there done that. Also the Villareal kids kept the house because I didn't want to raise them again. She did end up married to Thorne Bailey (because also Hungry for Love), but we let Octavia keep the house (because been there done that). They lived in a terrible Del Sol Valley starter (Inner Circle) with a Murphy bed for unflirty, neat, foodie Aunt Myrtle who was perfectly happy puttering around the house cleaning all day and cooking for them. I had Black Widow garden instead to unwind from work and sold her flower arrangements for big bucks on the yard sale table.
But she REALLY HATED working indoors, so I had her quit, go to University in Villainy (doing all her homework on a picnic table outside to keep her happy), and by the time she graduated she had enough money to finish the scenario. Distinguished degree with honors, yo. Hired in at level 8.
As my "happy ending," I had Thorne re-befriend Octavia (and had everyone else also befriend her and the kids) and moved everyone back into the Bailey-Moon house for a super awkward time. 😉 Seriously, I gave Octavia her own room, put Thorne and my Black Widow into the master, took out Thorne's gym and replaced it with a room for Aunt Myrtle, turned the video production room into a room for the toddler (I found out Thorne had a new baby after the wedding and felt guilty), used the heck out of Dream Home Decorator for all the closets, and installed toilets. 😉 I don't know that I'll play them, but it felt like part of the happy ending. Seriously, Octavia might be single but she's now financially better off and has help raising the kids, and seemed happy.
