Teen sims no longer have school day goals

I'm wondering if anybody else has had this issue since the new patch? When I follow my teen sims to high school, they no longer have the same event goals in the corner for the school day and instead have something that looks like a weird bugged holiday. I tried repairing the game, removing all my mods, and clearing my cache, but it's still there. Even if my sim completes the goals as they change throughout the day, they end the day with a bad report.
