patriciabatara Try renaming the "The Sims 4" folder to something else, then start the game. Go through making and placing the sim. Check to see if the issue still happens. It shouldn't. Then save and quit. Move your old saves folder over to the new "The Sims 4" folder. Run the game and see if it happens then. Don't save before quitting. If it does happen, then something is wrong with the save and you'd be best served abandoning it. If it doesn't happen, then copy over your mods folder from the old folder to the new one. Start the game again. If the issue doesn't happen, you should be good to go. If it does happen, then you'll need to go through your mods folder testing things until you find whatever is broken or causing the problem and update/delete it.
