My sim is level 9 of the Handiness skill, and I have the task to make the Wooden Throne yet it doesn't show up. I am in the furniture category, but for whatever reason it isn't showing up at all. Is anyone else having this problem? Is it a bug?
Have you claimed it? You need to claim it before it will show up to be crafted.

HelloabcfN95M2hhdcQ You can claim it in the event screen, where you claim all the other rewards for the event. If you click “ claim all” there, then you will get all the rewards that you have earned so far in the event.
I am also having that issue. I tried to find it and it doesn’t show up. I play on the PlayStation 5.

"Echoes from the Cave Quests in The Sims 4" - Same here. My Sims have handiness 10 and the option to build the Wooden Throne does not show up. I tried it on several different lots on both the regular woodworking table and the reclaimed one. The quest now has the message that "the gnomes" are trying to fix it. There must be some kind of a glitch.
One can't claim it if one has not yet fulfilled the quest to build it.
Okay, I figured it out. Do all of the other quests first, then "claim all" rewards. THEN, the option to build the Wooden Throne will show up.
I did all the previous quests, I claimed all the gifts, my Sim is at leve8+ for crafted/repaired things and no throne shows up
Thanks for your reply. Did you do all the current quests (with exception of the Throne)? That's how it worked for me, I did the others first, was then able to claim all gifts, including the Throne, and then I was able to make the Throne (the option came up on the woodworking table).
I've done all the current quests & claimed rewards, yet I'm 5ep short of earning the wooden throne recipe which is still locked. Unsure how to unlock since the other quests were completed, and I can't fine how to earn 5ep more to unlock the recipe needed to finish. For attached pics: No mods, on PC, & this character is level 10 handiness already. I've logged out and back in twice already. I didn't see any Sims4 updates to download.
I hope they evaluate how/why they do these quests because they always seem to have some issues. And I hope this is fixed before the time limit they've set runs out.
EA has corrected the bug. yes I did all the current quests et gathered all the gifts. it s not my first quest, i'm used to it. But I was blocked this time because no "throne choice" showed up when I tried to make it". I waited 3 days and then I was able to make the throne and get it as a gift after an EA update. ;-)
