Unable to Play

I just finished downloading the Sims4 onto my new laptop and I came across a few bugs. When in Sim cast building my character, I noticed that certain items would make the sim turn completely black, or, everything would turn into their flesh color. It was hair items, accessories, shirts, pants.... I wasn't able to use some quick looks either. 

After I managed to build my sim and pick a lot, the game wouldn't load. It kept telling me to restart the game. I did 3 times and it never worked. I had NO mods and I did not use any codes.
