If your PC is only 6 months old it should be perfectly capable of running the Sims 4 in 64bit unless you for some reason only got Windows 32bit with it.
my system is 64 bit. I hadn't played the game in a while and when i went to play it came up with the error message saying i needed to install the legacy version. will post my computer properties soon.
