Wall accidentally deleted in apartment building in Evergreen Harbor

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.111.102.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All expansion packs, all game packs except Journey to Batu, all stuff packs except Perfect Patio.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? You may try to delete the walls.
What happens when the bug occurs? I have accidentally deleted a wall at the ground floor of the apartment building in Eco Lifestyle world. I can delete every wall downstairs, but I cannot replace the wall in question. Is there a way to replace the wall or, at least, reset the entire building? I have this building for a long time in this state, and I cannot create a new save because my entire legacy is in this one.
What do you expect to see? I would like to reset the building or replace the wall.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Is there a way to solve this problem? Thank you!

  • I don't think there's a way you can fix this easily, since the part you deleted is in a non editable part of the apartment shell.

You can try having the game delete Evergreen Harbor and creating a new one for you with the apartment building restored -

    1. create a backup of your save file just in case
    2. move every sim you are playing out of Evergreen Harbor temporarily
    3. disable Eco Lifestyle expansion pack - you can use the tool on James Turner's website to get the pack disable code
    4. open your save file without Eco Lifestyle and it should get rid of Evergreen Harbor, then save the game in this state
    5. quit the game again and re-enable Eco Lifestyle
    6. open your save file and it should make a new Evergreen Harbor for you

The downsides from this would be possible sims throughout your game having missing clothing items if they were wearing Eco Lifestyle hair and clothes while the pack was disabled, and possible duplicate Eco Lifestyle townies if the game regenerated them too?

@simvasion Thank you so much for your reply. I tried this method, but after I enabled the Eco Lifestyle pack, the world couldn't be accessed. The screen turned white, and nothing happened. I could not access the worlds button, all I did was to close the game (apparently I could access the buttons from the right). The save I used for this method was compromised, after many attempts to restart and repair the game, the state of the save remained the same (Evergreen was inaccessible). And I tried this method twice, with two different copies of the save. I also repaired the game, but nothing changed. Luckily I created a copy before this attempt. I will leave it as it is. Thank you again for your replay!
