I swear that my sims used to be able to watch tv while on the treadmill, but now I noticed that the sim will get off the treadmill when I turn the tv on. I can't actually remember if they were able to watch tv while exercising, is that a thing or would this be considered a bug?
I have put a TV in every gym I have ever built (both home gyms and venues) for the specific purpose of Sims being able to watch TV while running on the treadmill. While I have not played enough recently to confirm whether or not they have stopped doing this, I can absolutely confirm you're not crazy. Sims have been able to watch TV while using the treadmill for a very long time, perhaps since the game launched in 2014.
