Where are the Cars in Sims 4 And Being Able to Customize Items?

One of the features I miss from the sims 3 (besides babies that do more than just sleep, poop and cry) was the ability to customize almost anything in build mode.  And being able to purchase actual vehicles in the game (besides boats and bikes).  With sims 4, it seems you have to keep buying packs to make the games more interesting and enjoyable. All the features EA keeps adding nor any of the packs they have put out so far have any of these desired items from the sims 3.  Seriously?  Some of the most current packs are a re-hash of the same things, or making existing actions in the game more "attractive".  Bore! How about adding cars and item customization without having to pay for it? Now that is an update I would look forward to!

Since there are no open world to drive around in cars do not make sense in the Sims 4.

When you select something in BB there are several possibilities to change it using the little popup menu beside the item.

The sims 4 still sucks.  They keep adding stupid features, before working on adding the best features from the previous sims games.  I am getting so sick and tired of it.  So much so that I will not be purchasing any more packs until they start adding some of the "classic" sims games features.
