@LonaBoom I think this is all part of the way the game creates its NPC's. I have seen this occur more than once. It will definitely happen with Sims that are a integral part of the game. Each time you start a new game Eliza Pancakes appears together with Bob and over time they can be separated or even die. You can even keep them as ghosts.
I play a rotational game with a lot of Sims (over 140 at this moment) and when I play a certain family/household they encounter members of other families/households in their daily activities.
For instance, one of my male Sims is a scientist, an Extraterrestrial Explorer, but when I play the Sim, who is an Apprentice Inventor, and I follow her to work the male Sim is a sitting receptionist. When I take this apprentice inventor to a Geek-Con, the male Sim is in disguise or wearing a Llama suit.
In the picture Eliza seems a young adult so you would still be able to try for a degree. By the way i have noticed on the screenshot that Bob has changed a bit too. 😎
So I guess there is nothing to worry about.
Have fun playing. 😉

@LonaBoom I mean, it's Eliza Pancakes... she probably slept with the prof or something 🤔 lol
But in all seriousness, as @Trismagistos said it is likely just the game filling NPC roles. NPCs never actually graduate with degrees (which is kind of annoying). You can always unenroll her from college if you plan to play with her or if you want to keep the story line, use cheats to give her the degree. Otherwise, if you just keep her as an NPC, it won't change anything (her progression as a student will stall unless you play the household).
- LonaBoom4 years agoSeasoned Ace@Trismagistos In my game they have a great life, I just want to send my sims to college myself not the game, because I had three sims in my game finish college without me
- LonaBoom4 years agoSeasoned Ace@ValFreya13 I understand but that mean all that time seeing them walking around the campus they have zero credit and a F student and we have to still help them. I unenrolled Supriya Delgato from college but the came enrolled her back in and she on the debate team with these grades

I just wished the game wouldn't do that, that would mean when I return back to the Delgato house I still have to help Supriya finish college, which I never enrolled her in the first place and her kids haven't even went to college yet. The Pancakes are having a great life in my game, I made them a bigger house in a different neighborhood, if the game send them to school I would love it if these sims had good grades and not bad one like this.
The thing with NPCs has me kept wondering for ages as they often do not have the necessary skills to be in a career (or position) they are in to begin with. I see them sometimes walk on streets or step by to visit my home instead of going to school, university or work. I even doubt they can make ends meet or care for their families unless you play them actively. 🥳
@LonaBoom You will still be able to play Eliza (Delgato or Pancakes) and enroll her into any university. When you play a rotational game make sure that you only age the Sims household you play. In that case you have more control over the non-played households. I do not switch to another family during the semester. Because when i do so, the Sims in university will not pass their exams. Most of the time when i play a student i stick with them for the duration of their terms. I.e. three weeks. In that case I am sure of a graduation of my Sim and a better start in 'life'.
The same gameplay I use with my Sims education. I stick with them until the have A grades only then I will switch to an other household. This means that i let them work hard at school and do their homework and extra work when possible. The parents and other household members help the children with their school projects. I have bought a motion gaming mat for them to play games when they become stressed and need some fun.
In the end most of my adult Sims are able to mentor and some of them even have role model traits. This is very beneficial in the successful upbringing of their kids. Bear in mind that i have been playing some of these families from the early start in 2014. It takes a while but it sure brings some rewards.
Have fun playing. 😉
- LonaBoom4 years agoSeasoned Ace@Trismagistos I've gotten really good at handling three household in college or even five sims in college at one time, I just don't understand why couldn't these sims have a c grade and maybe 2 terms finished if the game is going to pull them, most of the sims I have came across on debate team who are NPC or stay in the dorms have awful grades..
- LonaBoom4 years agoSeasoned Ace@Japanic2012 I've come across two NPC who was very rich and had a great paying job, it just depend on the NPC your sim flirt with lol. Arun Bheeda and Jesminder Bheeda son flirted with the right sim after finishing college, the sims turned out to be really rich and was a movie producer but she was dressed awful you couldn't tell. For some strange reason their son liked her and started flirting with her.
@LonaBoom That's a rare find I'd say. I have never encountered really rich NPCs so far. 😃 Come to think of it, I wonder if it's possible to have a NPC max out on a career by mentoring/tutoring only (meaning without adding him/her to your household). I'm sure this would take forever as they never would go to work voluntary, but interesting to know if someone has tried this before.
