Why does my sim always Sit at the pool to eat? So annoying

They will go down 3 floors of seating to find the edge of the pool. UGH LOL

  • @StuStuie Sometimes my Sims will choose to do something like that... take their food and eat it in another part of the lot. I think sometimes this can happen if, for whatever combo of reasons for that particular Sim, they find that location to have the preferred environmental and comfort 'score combo' for them, then may choose to do this. Other factors can be things like them feeling the need for social interaction and choosing a location they can chat with someone they desire, the ability to be entertained at the same time if they need or desire it (such as watching TV or listening to music at the same time, multitasking in some way that fills a desire for need for them or another Sim on the lot, being a Sim that loves the outdoors, a location's proximity to them, etc.

Sometimes I have added/enhanced an area for them to eat at (increased the comfort of chairs, the room's environmental score on items, etc.). It also needs to be close to where they are grabbing the food at. Plus it seems to help to 'imprint' it on them by directing them to sit there to eat for a while... and maybe also have other Sims in the household sit with them and socialize. If worse comes to worse on the plan you could play the cooking channel on a high fun TV in the room and direct them to all watch it together... and they will then also autonomously socialize also. That tends to keep their multi-tasking Sim heinie planted in the room. Maybe put one over the table for a while. 😆
