Why Is It Raining Inside My Sims' House?

I just patched the game about an hour ago. I was dismayed that I couldn't find my way into my save. I did a game repair and that didn't help. Then in a moment of inspiration, I made a copy of my back up game folder and substituted it for the 'old' one. Got into my game just fine, however, now it is raining inside of the house! My Sim family lives in Henford-on-Bagley, which tends to rain a lot. I get it, it's based on Great Britain, more specifically, England.  I guess until this oopsie gets fixed, I'll have to turn off rain and thunderstorms. Yikes.

I do realize what you do is so far above my paygrade, so I don't mean to complain, but there is a distinct pattern that for every fix, something old gets rebroken.  I hope with all of my heart, this oopsie gets immediate attention. Please, and thank you, in advance.
