They have off the grid settings you can apply to your lot where you dont use electricity or modern internet and all of that which comes with cottage living. I own all but strangerville and werewolves which im getting next month. The off the grid stuff could be applied to medieval, a wardrobe, and an entirely new town like their is for the other packs though. Thats my point. 🙂 if they havent done so already then i am suggesting it here in this feed. Miss the fairies also and the dragon pets. Hmm my friend said it was for Nintendo, i wasnt sure i dont follow Nintendo.
@Dreamscape1991 , Yes, the Off the Grid option is nice, but it isn't perfect. For example, if you have the Bust the Dust Kit , that kit turns on dust in all worlds, lots, and save games, unless you disable it -- which would also affect all worlds, lots, and save games, and not just the ones you want it to affect. 😔 This wouldn't be a problem except that they did not put any brooms & dust pans in the kit, so this makes a big dusty mess unless you disable the dust feature. 😢
I was more thinking of the immersion that would be missing if we had a Medieval pack because even if they made a Medieval town for the game, normal NPCs like the Pancakes, Goths, Landgraabs, and Calientes would be wandering around the Medieval town, and it is possible that they would be dressed in their modern clothes! 😖 But this would be much better if they had it to where all NPC's would wear Medieval clothing while at the town.😅
They could do this with a time-travel storyline as well, but in that case there would probably be more than one time period to travel to, but this would make each time period watered down, without the detail a player would want.😥
But I think a pack like a Medieval pack (or any time period pack from over 100 years ago unless in a time-travel pack) would have a similar problem as the Journey to Batuu (Star Wars) Game Pack has, in that it kind of breaks the immersion for a lot of people. However, some people don't have a problem with this. 🤷♀️
As for Faries, I really hope that even if they have a Medieval pack that they don't add Fairies to it because I don't want Fairies to suffer the fate that Aliens and Mermaids did in The Sims 4 where they have hardly any gameplay details.😭 I want a stand-alone Fairy pack!!!! 🧚♀️🧚♂️🥳 But pet dragons would probably work pretty well! 😎
