Yoga mat placement

I am trying to get my Sims to practice wellness and would like them to stand the specific direction when using the yoga mat. But no matter if I flip the mat 180 degrees (so the entry arrows are on the opposite direction) , the Sim will still start the series of poses by standing to the same direction no matter what the alignment of the mat is. Is this intentional or a possible bug? And if it is intentional, how can I make sure my Sims do yoga to specific direction?
