- Most of those have zero to do with nature. It could be farming, wildlife, zoo, or safari. Nature usually refers to animals or scenery. I just hope it is good.

I've been begging for zoos and aquarium exibits since TS3. - Fluteline24New SpectatorAbsolutely none of those options appeal to me.

Bonding with nature to me means hiking, camping, being out in the woods. I'd love an isolated cabin in a forest with lots of wildlife around.
It can also mean a mountain world like Hidden Springs in TS3 was.
I don `t believe. We already have Mt. Komorebi. They will not put another world with similar characteristics. It would be very foolish of you."catloverplayer;c-17900597" wrote:

I hope this never happens. It is a nefarious practice against animals and I will not tolerate it even in a game. Promote circus values in which, because you are different, you are worthy of being exhibited. Lives are not there to entertain you and, although this is a game, the example and teaching that you can give to people is important.- Out of interest, where did fandom get the idea that a farming pack was coming? I assume the expectation was around *before* the phrase 'bond with nature' was used, as it's a bit of a reach.(I have relatives who farm, and what they do is manhandling, rather than bonding - and in a way far removed from nature).
I do like the vague concept of a farming pack - but I can't imagine how it'd fit in with The Sims, which already has a profitable kitchen-garden aspect, and which has a scale more fitted to a petting zoo than any real farm. At best, I can see a farming as an off-screen career. - Rey_EstupendoNew Traveler

Grant rodrieck made a poll once about a potential farming pack...but it was long ago and since then simmers have been speculating about a farming pack! everytime it goes a little bit "nature" or "off the grid" they immediately go "FARMING!!!"..;even if farming is kinda far from bonding with nature.
To be fair, it's not just when things go a bit natural or off the grid. When the icon for Journey To Batuu was leaked and it couldn't have been a clearer image of Galaxy's Edge at the Disney parks, people started interpreting a very Star Wars-looking building to be a barn, a tall, thin rock like in the Galaxy's Edge park to be either some sort of silo or just something that was there for no reason, don't think about it, and the triple suns in the sky as the passage of time as a sim works all day in the fields.
Some people are just mad for farming or, as I think of it, "more gardening." - catloverplayerSeasoned Ace

The zoos wouldn't have animals behind cages they'd be in their national enviroment and Hidden Springs was a different type of mountain world were you had a lookout you could view with telescopes and it had a lot of waterfalls. Also 2 more beach worlds have been mentioned on a survey so even though we have Island Living Maxis is atleast thinking about adding 2 more beach worlds Greek Islands and Brazil Beaches so why not a mountain world like Hidden Springs? I loved that world. - Karamazov123Seasoned HotshotZoos aren't inherently bad. They're key to the conservation and research of many species, bring awareness of animals and their plights to the general populace, and animals often thrive in zoos in ways they can't outside of them. There are bad zoos out there, but zoos as a whole have an important part in the animal kingdom, for people and animals.
Plus, zoo games have shown that taking care of animals and building up their habitats would be extremely fun gameplay. And The Sims would be awesome if we could have exotic pets. Yeah, it'd be illegal and immoral in real life, but no real animals would get hurt, it would be so freaking fun. I don't care if others get mad over it, I want my pet peafowl. It's not like the teenagers playing this game are going to go out and buy real pet rhinos, anyway. - CAPTAIN_NXR7Seasoned Veteran

I agree with this.
Plus some animals in TS4 are known to write bestsellers and build rocket ships so they can escape their terrariums. I’m not too concerned about them.
Then again, we didn’t get dog houses in the Sims 4 because apparently some folks regard that as animal abuse ( and dressing your Corgi in a shark suit and make it swim in the pool is not??!!) but anyways....
No one needs to worry. I doubt we’ll get a zoo pack anytime soon. "Gordy;c-17901458" wrote:

That you feel entitled to conserve and investigate animals in real life speaks of how badly we behave as a species, animals would be better off with us far away, ceasing to monopolize their territories and contaminate them, they do not need humans to investigate them and if it is to save them They can only be saved from other humans ... Nobody buys a rhino but children will grow up with the idea that seeing an animal in a completely confined space is normal, when in reality animals were born to make the world theirs. Zoos, as you say, are needed only because of us. You cannot be the savior and the cause of the problem at the same time. I remember in the sims 1 how animals were sold in a kind of shop window, at that time it seemed normal to me and not today. If I go back to the game out of nostalgia, I see that scene as a sad reality that continues to happen to us. Believe we have the right to sell a life as if it were an object... All I want is that what is contaminated in the real world is not in the world of the sims.
