Canoeing in Copperdale?

I’ve only just been exploring the neighborhood that comes with Adventure awaits and I’m not super impressed. I would love to build a cottage in Copperdale as it gives those rustic cottage vibes, but can you canoe in the water there? Is it an open water situation? Has anyone explored?
