Cheek kiss greeting

Yeah, I think it's an autonomous greeting. I like how sims who despise each other greet. XD

I haven't seen this kiss on the cheek interaction tho, but it looks cute.

Get your sim a drink and make sure everyone has a drink in their hand as well, and then make a toast.

Has anyone found how to make this interaction? I can't find it in my game. Here in Spain it is a really common way of greeting someone so it would be nice to have it in the game :D

Cheek kiss greeting is a autonomous greeting that is done randomly depending on your social skills your relationship with the other sim and whether in a club gathering and their rules and restrictions. The check kiss interaction is available to Family, and Romantic relationships if strong enough. The cheek kiss is available for family to child, but is removed from the teenage stage of life as that is just weird, and added back for young adult, adult, elder to child. The cheek kiss is also in romatic interactions for Teens young adult, adult, and elder.

The cheers or toast action is only available at social events such as parties with a bar and birthday parties, and wedding parties.

If the other one gets verified, too bad, this one is better.!

My Sim has now started doing this to everyone and it's really annoying. :s

The sim couple I've been most playing after Cats & Dogs does this all the time on their own, it's super cute. My favorite moment was when she came to give him a cheek kiss before he left for work, sort of rushed through the house for it too. Timing no doubt a coincidence, but it was adorable. I could almost hear the "Have a good day at work, dear."

I thought it was a greeting especially for sims who live in Windenburg? Like sims who live in San Myshuno shake hands in a business-like way when they meet. Do sims in Brindleton Bay kiss as well?

It's an autonomous interaction which was in Get Together. If you haven't seen it then it's been muted by something and if you are seeing it more recently then it means some patch or pack or cc or mod has shaken it lose. But it's been there since GT.

I've been seeing cheek kiss and handshake greetings more often since the Pets EP dropped, even though I don't own it. And they are not limited to townies. Sims from the household I'm playing (generally the female adults) will surprise me by waving at an NPC, say Jasminder, on the street, (without being "told" to), and then initiating a conversation following a "cheek kiss" greeting. The men will do the same and shake hands or sometimes give each other a toned down "bro hug."

I am loving the autonomy of these interactions and have noticed them happening in the "newer" cities of Windenburg, San Myshuno, and, yes, even Forgotten Hollow. And it's not limited to player controlled Sims and NPCs. I have also seen NPCs and Townies greet each other in similar fashion. I hope this is not a glitch or bug, because these minor little touches breathe life into background Sims that are usually little more than Zombies.

this is a different type of cheek kiss, the one people are talking about is a greeting cheek kiss so they dont actually kiss, its just a "mwah" sound while they put their cheeks together. there seems to be more of the random romantic greetings as well now though

I love this greeting! I only noticed it between Windenburg residents, unfortunately. I wish we could set it as a default greeting or customize it in CAS, how cool would that be. If you want a businessman type of character, you could set him to always greet with a handshake; bro sims greets with bro hugs and so on. 90% of my sims would be given the kiss cheek greeting because that's the norm where I live, it would be so much better than the current one. You just don't stand idle and wave your hand in the face of somebody else, no how. I don't think people actually do it regardless of where they live, but if I'm wrong, no offense intended.
