Thank you! I was just going to say it looks like my starting another save with the same family worked, but nope just now saw the ea app. Grrrr
Oh well I will try a different family in a new save and see what happens.

Glad you got it solved, but it would be nice if you stated how you did so, for others who may be having the same problem. :)

Maybe it was a mod issue.

@GalacticGal I didn't do anything though. After the game crashed through Origin it seemed to do a repair on its own or something. I didn't initiate it, and it has been working ever since.

Great! I only had one crash and it hasn't happened again. I like to think of it as a hiccup, lol.
