Has anyone managed to catch a Royal Sabrefish?

I have a sim who is an angler, and she has a level 10 in the fishing skill. But there is one fish that she has not caught and it is the Royal Sabrefish. Any anyone had any luck in catching this fish? If you have what did you do to catch this elusive fish?

I got my first one from exploring the cave on mua pel'am, and I just caught my first one using medium sized bait at the fishing sign by the cave. I couldn't catch one "angling for big catch".
  • I've got several (and threw all but one back) - various and no bait (my Sim does have full fishing skill and has completed the fishing aspiration). Also got a 'good' quality royal sabrefish from meeting dolphins in the cave rabbithole. It's just luck - it took me forever to get the leopard shark to complete my fish collection - I tried every kind of bait, fishing from a fishing sign, fishing in deep water, fishing near corals. Last night, I got two or three fishing with no bait. (I was actually trying to get the final item for the Sulani treasures collection. Instead, I got every single endangered and rare fish.)
  • I got one once and my sim has a level 9 fishing skill. I with we could have the option to release every fish we catch.

I was thinking about this, too. My legacy family certainly doesn't need the money from selling the fish, and if you're living in a 'second house' on Sulani, there is no way to store the big fish for use as fertiliser. It would also make it more meaningful if you only kept the invasive species - right now, you get points toward cleaning up the island for catching them, but you can't help but catch them, along with all sorts of 'good fish'. It's not helpful to remove the invasive species if you're also removing the species that are supposed to be there.
