Is planting flowers autonomously without flowers or seed packets in the inventory a new thing?

My sim is celebrating love day, because it is just her and her science child I have changed love day tasks to hunting eggs and interacting with the flower bunny. Only those two tasks, my sim went hunting for eggs, mostly in her hedges and in decorative game plants (no planted plants on the lot) and once that was satisfied I concentrated on the little toddler hunting for eggs. While watching the toddler I saw my sim planting plants :/ How weird, so I switched over to her and watched her and she planted 4 different flowers including a snapdragon. She had no seed packets or flowers in her inventory, is this a new autonomously interaction for spring? If it is, then its very cute, but I will have to move her plants, she planted two of them in the middle of the driveway LOL.

One of the plants is right in between existing decorative plants so I could not screenshot it, I did check and it is another snapdragon :D

It's the flower bunny. The flower bunny scatters flowers, which sims will then autonomously plant.

Glad to help. I like it too (even if I do re-arrange them in build mode afterwards.)

I am so sorry, my first language is not english. I have edited it to try and make more sense. :)
  • Flower bunny is the one on lots, but I noticed also far off any lot, on public hood ground, quite often I run into sets of two similar plants growing "shoulder by shoulder". I suspect that when seasons change, some plants with crops on might drop some produce to the ground near the mother plant. For a random NPC walking by, it might work as when Bunny drops a flower, so it might get planted. I like seeing those sets of plants, because this is often how plants spread naturally :)

So, while Flower Bunny caused some, also the plants themselves can be the reason.
