Is Politican career an active career?

No word yet on it's an active career or not. But I just a response from SimGuruDrake. She assures me that we will be getting more info on the Political career soon. So we should find out then if it is or isn't an active career. ;) <3
ETA: One other thing, SimGuruDrake told me that there are two branches to the Politician career. ;) <3

Hmm. There are no choice of different tracks in the current active careers.

Hmm. There are no choice of different tracks in the current active careers.

Doesn't mean they can't, though. Zerbu's Turbo Careers mod adds active gameplay to the base game careers, and they still have branches.

But honestly, I don't know what would be fun about going to an office to post on social media all day, or signing bills in the White House or whatever. They're much better off being "disappear for a day" careers with some promotion requirements that encourage you to go to a community lot.

You know what would be great? If you could sign laws that actually changed the way the city was. Sadly, this is The Sims 4.

It would be great! Then we would be able to change the city's name to Midnuit Avenue :blush:

The place has plenty of secret passage ways. I plan to do an attack at some point, where the city goes under siege and they plan to assassinate the mayor.

That's a given anyways because that's mainly what a Politician does anyways, socialize with the public.

@Swiftlover13 I really hope they allow us to change laws! It would be amazing! Sims is all about giving us options to be creative and making laws would just be another creative tool.

To add to that: toddlers should come in a patch, therefore it's a different team.

I had watched the official trailer for CL 5 times now, and I didn't notice any Political Career active or otherwise in the trailer. I saw what looked like an active Comedy Career, and an active singing career towards the end of the trailer. But no Political Career anywhere in the trailer. If it is in there, can someone please let me know what point that the Political career appears in the trailer?

I am really curious about this career and it's paths. Hope it's active :)
