I also got access to the CFE (thanks EA, not final product)
Since Emma hasn't been able to pull the sword, I'll add some info about it here:
- Simcalibur is unique object you can only get once.
- You are able to put it back if you no longer want it
- It's part of the collection.
- Extra Interactions on the Sword
- Simcalibur's Radiance: Gives you a Radiant Aura Moodlet, Confident for 8 hours
- Ascend to Kingdom Leader: You become Level 10 instantly. My Sim was already Level 10 though so I can't really say what happens
- Interactions after you pull the Sword on the stone:
- Where is the Sword: Gives you a notification who owns the sword
- Return Sword: Returns Simcalibur to the stone for another Sim to pull.
Thanks for clarifying. What do you have to do or what expectations do you have to meet to pull Simcalibur off of the rock?

Anyways, going by what Emma said on the sword, I was just focusing on the commoner alignment (to my knowledge you can only have that if you are already in the nobel career so you basically you can only become level 10 nobel career if you already started it but I could be wrong) and the swordmanship
My Sim is currently
- Almost maxed commoner favor
- Level 9 Swordmanship (this for sure makes a difference as I tried multiple times with lower levels. I can't tell what that 'breaking point is though'
- She did have secrets about herself in the notebook but there was never a scandal. Currently those secrets have faded. I can't tell if that makes a difference.
