I have decided to disable temperature effects for now, as I feel they are out of control.In my game, sims overheat despite wearing hot weather attire, but also get moodlets that they are freezing to death during heatwave in the summer. What gives? :/ Morgyn Ember died for the second time yesterday due to hot temperature. I've managed to bring her (female in my game) back as a ghost, but her husband's Dedeathify spell doesn't appear to work this time around. Another what gives?How is it going in your game temperature wise?Also, I find it frustrating that I have to put thermostats in every single venue and NPC home and adjust them all according to the season. Does your Planet Honey Pop! karaoke bar also get snow indoor during winter? Mine does, so I have resorted to re-building it, because its very design was messed up. My Planet Honey Pop use to have snow indoors that was until I put in an actual ceiling. Now it is good.As far as the odd ball tempature issues, several have mentioned that mods can cause this problem. I don't have any issues with the tempature being wonky.

No issues with temperature in my game - if they're wearing the appropriate clothing, they're fine, and definitely not freezing in hot weather.

I did have snow in Planet Honey Pop, but I do not have it any longer. I think it was a bug that they fixed. I seem to recall them mentioning it in one of the patch notes. I sometimes have issues with sims feeling to hot or cold as well. Turning the thermostat on and off again fixes it. I use a mod by deischaf where I can turn on and off the thermostat instantly.

That doesn't sound right at all with sims dying like that. I recently killed a sim for cold temperature and I specifically made him wear summer clothes in a cold weather. Still took a good while for him to freeze.I have heard Planet Honeypop has that problem. I must have rebuilt mine. Try just redoing all the walls of the building so a ceiling will appear, that should stop it.

I know there were a bunch of bugs causing sims to die due to temperature related issues in the wrong weather, but I thought that had been fixed.

As far as the odd ball tempature issues, several have mentioned that mods can cause this problem. I don't have any issues with the tempature being wonky.

I have yet to deal with any issues regarding Seasons (except for that one introduction experience), but I'm also one who isn't too bothered with the way The Sims 4 emotions are setup. If that was the case, I'd just install a no emotion mod or disable natural disasters in options. I never had my sim pass out, get burns, or die from the heat (they're barely outside). It's just something that I'd immediately expect from, you know, nature.

Yes, I was guessing mods, too. No issues with temperature in my game - if they're wearing the appropriate clothing, they're fine, and definitely not freezing in hot weather.

Never had snow in Planet Honey Pop, but I put glass doors in on the other kareoke bar and made the upstairs accessible (and saved it to my library). I also turn Planet Honey Pop into a lounge or night club (just the light editing I did might be enough to stop the snow) 1 karaoke bar is enough.

Your other issues do sound like a mod issue though, if they are freezing in summer and also if paddling pools and aircon doesn't stop them overheating

I never had any issues regarding temperatures. As far as I know no NPC died from frost/heat either. But, I never forget a sim returning from work etc, standing outside getting close to this kind of death, either.

Do you have any mods that might mess with this?

Do you know which mods? Everybody is saying fix this and fix that with MCCC, so now I have that :/

I still get snow in my planet honey pop. I don't know how to fix it since I'm not much of a builder. As for temperature issue it all seems fine in my game. Maybe a mod problem?
