They should develop a remaster of Sims 1.
Their Command and Conquer remaster of Red Alert 1 and Tiberium Dawn seems to be selling well, I think that was their first attempt in this field and as anyone knows, EA likes to do as little as possible for their money.
It's crazy enough that they never released Sims 1 on Origin since 2, 3 and 4 are all there.
So I suggest they polish up the full package, add some small graphical improvements and a few quality of life updates, and release it for modern systems.
Graphically, they could make everything 3D, not just the sims but maintain the fixed camera points. So a couch with a cushion on the left side, won't suddenly have it on the right side if you turn the camera. Stuff like that bothers me so much in a lot of 2D games.
Doors would also have animations, and not just jump from open to closed state, stuff like that.
Sims could also have seperate fingers and facial animations, though they could keep the same outfits and preset faces.
It should all maintain the Sims 1 experience after all, but they could do a few small quality of life improvements.
Like being able to make a family tree, setting family relations. And also clean up and integrate all the expansions a bit more together since now it would all be one game.
But it should very much feel like playing the sims 1, keeping all the familiar music, the darker tone and also the more mature bits like being able to drink alcohol and hire a pie dancer.
