- Actually, I don't think wheelchairs are a good idea. An entire new set of animations would be needed for almost every interaction and there would be severe routing issues.

Sims 4 really doesn't have severe routing issues except if moo is used. As it has a smart routing technology in this game we have never had in sims games before.- I'm pretty sure that if disabilities still weren't a permissible subject for discussion, a SimGuru wouldn't have encouraged the conversation, to the point of having a one-on-one talk with a Simmer. I'd like to see some kind of representation for disabilities - how to do that respectfully, supportively, and without misrepresentation is a conversation for devs and designers to have with the community being represented, though, as they did when they worked on the gender options. I don't feel qualified to say anything more, personally. But clearly, the topic is permitted.
- MadameleeNew RookieI'm just want to get this out there.. but we shouldn't talk about having differently able sims (Despite the fact Grant started this on Twitter) on this site, because a (former?) staff member believed it was lobbying
@EA_Mage Are we allowed to talk about differently able sims on here because of some comments on Twitter Grant one of the Sims' team members? - Lobbying?

http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/850476/is-there-a-rule-stating-people-can-ask-talk-about-disabbilties-sims - MadameleeNew Rookie@kaiwrysims I only became a Sims player with Sims 3.. but apparently wanting "differently able" sims been an issue since the Original Sims and it didn't help in some kind of console a NPC was in a wheelchair
- I'd love wheelchairs, I wouldn't hold my breath though considering the animation budget it'd no doubt take.
One of the things I really like about the insane trait, is that, while it obviously plays mostly for laughs my sim will often say mean or inappropriate things for no apparent reason. Obviously tedious to deal with but that capacity to let you play with someone different from the norm and have it reflected in actual gameplay is something I absolutely cherish. - MadameleeNew Rookiewe should ask on Twitter tomorrow
- Thanks MadamLee. Very strange, that a staff person would use that "term." Since Grant discussed it though, I think it would be all right to talk about. But thanks for the info, I appreciate it!
