- crocobauraSeasoned AceSalads mostly. And whatever one would consider healthy eating in real life, like proper cooked meals with fresh ingredients. I know quick meals and cookies and cakes count towards junk food lifestyle.
- When I think of healthy foods I think of things that aren't highly processed, that are lower sodium, and have little or no sugar. More natural, like salad, fresh vegetables and fruits, lean meat, usually fish. When I try to eat healthy I avoid prepackaged or boxed meals, they are such salt bombs and high in carbs. I don't eat out as often when I'm trying to eat healthy.
- Are we talking of irl or game food
as for irl yeah idk they just tend to list what to not eat
and then tell you to chew air with slice of avocado somehow made so it takes hours to prepare and barely looks like food in the end
with maybe some crumbs scattered over it so you can post it on instagram
yeah ive unsubscribed the healthy food cult I will just eat whatever i want 3 times a day and keep portion sizes not looking like all you can eat challenge and try to avoid things with lot of sugar in specific
hopefully it at least reduces the times i stare into the void at my fridge if nothing else
as for my sims i care even less because couple hours of yoga is all it takes to reset their mistakes - In the context of the Health Nut lifestyle, this thread has some info: https://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/998854/question-about-the-food-lifestyles
In the context of calories, Carl’s Guide has some details but I’m not sure how up-to-date it is. The game had added a bunch of foods with 0 calories so you might want to try those out first. But are we really surprised if they haven’t “fixed” that?

And for when you can't be bothered to watch workout a glass of Insta-lean. I've never used it on my sims, there may have been a time or two where they 'accidentally' got a glass of Insta-large instead.?"DaniRose2143;c-18117544" wrote:

I thought this was in off topic when I answered it the first time. I just realized it's in general discussion. It's been one of those days...?- OldeSimsFanNew TravelerDepends on the health/nutrition guru you check. They all disagree with one another other than drinking enough water to float the Queen Mary. Boiled down it seems to be lots of water and their exclusive, and oh so expensive, powders and pills. The more I checked the more confusing it got. Sims have it way easier than we do. Eat what they like, an if they get tubby just take them into CAS.
- RoseQuartz724Seasoned NoviceFor the Health Nut lifestyle, I noticed while playing it some time ago that quick meal Beverages seemed to count as "junk food" - even orange juice used to help treat a cold. So that could be scuttling attempts at getting the lifestyle, even though you'd think OJ would be healthy.

The problem is that I don't trust the game to think what I think is healthy as healthy. or the other way around.
Maybe it's because I am Swedish, but for me "fried fish" is as unhealthy as it gets: Breadcrumbs and fat with some fish in the middle. But apparently the game says it's healthy? Must be using a different recipe - BabykittyjadeRising ObserverAssuming we are talking about "real" food. That kind of differs for each person, based on their country and eating habits. I am vegetarian and the way I was raised is that healthy food is pretty much organic non processed natural foods. Preferably that has not had any chemical or pesticides or any tampering. My mom grows most of her own vegetables. We believe in eating very little. Less food is more kind of thing. Very simple and very natural. Like my dad for example would eat one meal a day of blended vegetables and brown rice, mixed with a natural mineral/protein powder and almond milk. That's it. Oh and his vitamins. He's ate like that his entire life and for his age he's super healthy. Not one medical problem and looks so young everyone assumes he's my brother. My mom is the same. I follow in their footsteps and I find that I am in my healthiest state when I do 24 hour fasting daily. I get so energized and everything is so much better. Then I break fast with avocados, lettus and whatever else I might decide. Then I have natural leaf tea with added spices that boost health like turmeric, (great for boosting immune system and killing germs in the body) coriander, cayenne pepper, burdock root and others.
Unlike my parents I do prepare and eat certain vegetarian meals like italian food, pizza, Mexican food, traditional South Asian etc. But that's like my occasional bonus food lol.
I also believe it is healthier to eat at home then out at restaurants or fast food. Plus you never know the spirit of the person who is preparing your food and that can be unhealthy.
If you were talking about sim food then ooops? ignore this.
