CAS Detail Edit doesn't work
Whenever i go to Create a Sim to edit one of my Sims, if I try and click on the face to edit the details it just highlights the whole face white. The option to click and drag the sliders on features does not show up, and the only feature i can change the preset of are the eyebrows. The game will still not let me move them.
It began after I installed a few mods, which I then removed to see if that was the problem. It indeed was not, so I backed up my data, deleted The Sims 4, reinstalled the game, and tried to use my backed up data. The problem continued. I was reading another question on here because it was sort of similar to what I have been dealing with and I followed nearly all of the steps the answerer had provided, but still nothing. Any recommendations on what to do would be appreciated.
Oh sorry, thought you knew what I was talking about as it's one of the basic troubleshooting steps given here multiple times, so I was just double checking if that was one of the things you tried.

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files and make a backup.
After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.
Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.
- Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
- Tray Folder
- Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
- Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)
- Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
- ConfigOverride, if you have your own configuration files.
- Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)
The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.
