Game crashes, fades to black then white screens with black lines.

Question

Hi!! I'm autistic and very anxious with computers so this is all new to me, My issue started last night with the game in build mode after I downloaded a few new mods on curse forge, It was only a few clutter mods, kitchen things and a house, my file for sims mods isn't large, only 3.5GB max.

When I'm playing, the screen will lag and fade to a black screen before going white, and when I drag my mouse, black lines appear where its dragged. I know its the sims because its not happening on any other game.

I've re-installed all of the mods Curse forge had flagged, but some mods aren't shown on curse forge that I had downloaded on SFS or Patreon. Any advice for situations newer players don't know about would be great!!

Any help that wont scare me would be amazing!!! Thanks in advance! :3

ShongusChipmunk​&nbsp; Please move your Mods folder to your desktop and test the game again.&nbsp; This will remove, but not delete, your mods and custom content.&nbsp; You can restore the folder later, but it's important to find out whether your mods and cc are contributing to the issue.
If the Mods folder copies instead of moving, or you get an error when trying to move it, please let me know.
If removing the Mods folder doesn't help, please provide a dxdiag, which is a system report of sorts. &nbsp;Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. &nbsp;From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.

Hi!! I'm really sorry for the late reply, I've been avoiding the sims to help my anxiety.

The glitch isn't happening anymore with the mods folder out on my desktop, I was wondering where to go from there !!! any help would be great :D

ShongusChipmunk​&nbsp; I've been away from the forums for a few days, so I didn't think you were late and didn't see your post until now.
Since the problem is gone with the Mods folder removed, you'll need to test its contents to find out what is causing the problem.&nbsp; You can test in batches, or use the 50/50 method if you have a lot of files to test:
