Hey there! I'm actually having a similar problem as the first one mentioned on this post, and I can't seem to figure out any way around it!
It's a script mod, it shows up on the script mod list in the menu when I boot the game up, but then it's not actually in my game at all!
I've checked to enable the mods, removed it from it's folder, removed all other mods, deleted the mods folder & had a new one created, gone through the cache files, and restarted my game about a million times. I've tried loading it with old games, and made several new ones to try and get things to work. I've made sure there are no duplicate files, I extracted the files with 9 zip, and from what I can tell, it looks how it should.
Any ideas?
Hello @yaoifreaklover
Try redownloading the file again and see if it appears in your game then. Also check on the download site of the mod, to see if there is a specific way of installing the mod and finding it in game.
Also with script mods, they can’t be more than one folder level down in your mods folder. You need to place the script mods either directly into the mods folder, or only in one level/folder in the mods folder.
For example, with the MCCC mod you can have
Documents-Electronic Arts -Sims 4 -mods-MCCC
But you can’t have Documents-Electronic Arts -Sims 4 -mods- Script mods- MCCC
