I am having the same exact same issue
The only thing I did was use the cheat to be able to edit the dorm so I can add decorations and now the dorm is unplayable; I cannot load into the game, I cannot edit the building and worst of all the sims seems to be deleted from the game but the household that they lived in is still there .
I have no cc items in that specific dorm, I took out my mods folder and when I get to the household it shows no sims in the household but blue fuzz (as seen in attachments).
Please help one of the sims is a sim I have played for a long tim and now she is not even seen in the family tree anymore or in anyones relationship panel.
