So, my control panel icons are missing and I was wondering how I could get them back? I'm not familiar with the game, so I depend on the icons. Like besides hovering over the area, I can't see what's what.
Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game in a new save.
If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.
I tried deleting localthumbcache.package. but I accidentally saved and my game has no mods now, so I got it back and the icons are gone again. Now I have to re make my sims and their house, but it's okay I just want to get my icons back.
