Re: Painting only goes to normal quality

I've been having this problem since september/october I think. I was waiting for a new update in hopes of maybe it being fixed by updating.
I'm guessing the problem is only with my game but deleting and re-installing the game did not fix the problem.

Try the following

Close the game

Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old

Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry

Start a new save game

Check if you still have the error

Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.

@crinrict sadly that did not work. I made around 40 paintings. All of them normal quality. Even with my skill on level 10 and being inspired.
I've also noticed that my sim will love any new skill and does not dislike any of them.

@melody_helene They usually only dislike stuff if you're in a bad mood doing them.

Was this a new Sim you tested or did you put the same one into the new save ?

@crinrict Thank you for your help.
Nothing seemed to work. Not with a new sim or old savegame.
I've just deleted everything I could find and re-installed.
Problem seems to be gone now.
