Thank you! It would be difficult to test if the issue still happened without mods/cc because I don't know a way to trigger the issue but I will try that. Today, when playing with mods/cc I had another disappareance, this time not directly after waking up, but this time I could still see my sim walking around so I used "testingcheatsenabled true" and shift clicked to modify in CAS and when I left CAS the sim was back. I thought I'd share in case someone else has the problem because it was a far easier way to get the sim back than leaving the game without saving!
