Reaper Can't Plant Apple Cherry

I started game with a fresh "The Sims 4" folder, no Mods/CC, both are unchecked in Settings. Totally fresh new game. I can't plant Apples/Cherries in ground, round or square planters, they don't germinate. FIX IT!!!!!!! I AM SO TIRED OF THIS< FIX IT!

I had the same Problem!

I got it to work after repairing my game, updating my mods and then disabling scripted mods and CC entirely (over the settings menu via 'other') 🤔

How is this a solution for the original post? They were NOT using mods so updating mods would not help them in any way...

While I agree that the mods part wasn't helpful, for me though it was the game repair that helped, that is why I chose it as the solution. I had done game repairs before I did the above steps, but hadn't done one after starting with a fresh folder.

I had this problem of not germinating and it seems to be affected by the season. I planted them in a “sheltered” area and now everything is growing.
