Hi! I need help! So I own every pack except werewolves, I don't have or use any mods or cc and as of two days ago my game keeps breaking. First it started with the error code 107:77dd1fbb:5fe0e9e and I repaired my game like 6 times in a row and deleted last expectations. That error was making it so I couldn't travel to any other worlds. Now I don't get the error and I technically can travel to other worlds but when I travel or go into CAS my entire lot disappears. The entire house no matter what world or lot I build it on. I've tried repairing again and nothing will work.Also my played households aren't showing up when I go to add a new household to that neighborhood for example; I was trying to edit my renters house but once I load back to my household it's a different version of the neighborhood I was just in and nothing saves to the lot I just edited. This currently doesn't matter since I cant travel without losing everything anyways but both are issues.

First only put back your save game Copy all content from Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old\Saves to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Saves If there's a duplicate because of the new save you created, either just overwrite the file if you don't want to keep the new save or rename the new one to a different number that hasn't been used. Now test again. If it still works, you can put the following folders back (just copy the content like you have done for the saves to their respective folders - Screenshots - Recorded Videos - Tray (your houses and households) - Custom Music if you have any Test again. If it all works, you're good to go. @lyleejane420 I gave it a small test. No error codes and when trying to place a house, it stays there. I'm not sure if I'm testing the correct things so what I tried1. Loaded your Sim in Sulani. There was no house.2. Loaded another family in Sulani. There was a house so I took them to cas. House still there. Traveled with them to Glimmerbrook and back. House still there3. Back to your single household, placed a random lot from the gallery. Traveled. Back. House still there.4. Moved in a random sim that wasn't living anywhere.into a random rental lot and visited them. They were living there5. Save the game6. Exit game7. Reload Game8. Everything is as I last left it.9. Also didn't see any lots turn into residential rental.So, basically, I think I can't duplicate. Is there anything else I should test ?What security software are you using ?

@lyleejane420 So I checked out your video and to me it looks like the main issue is that the lot turns into a residential rental. That particular lot can't even be turned into on regularly.If you try to change the lot into residential rental, do you have that option ?I know you said you removed your mods/cc but did you ever try renaming your user folder ?

@lyleejane420 Didn't you say everything turns into residential rental ? If that happens, the game could very well be just removing the house cause it doesn't know what lot type it's supposed to be. User folder reset doesn't necessarily have anything to do with mods/cc issues. It's just renaming the entire user folder and getting rid of stuff. I would suggest to try that next (see instructions below) This isn't just for mod issues, it's also for game issue. The tech forum is more for technical issues. Close the game Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old Repair your game again Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry Start a new save game Check if you still have the error Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.

Traveling causes entire lot to disappear

Hi @lyleejane420 Are you playing with any mods or CC in your Mods folder? If so, please start at Broken/Updated Mods (pinned in this forum). If you still have issues after removing and replacing mods (don't forget to delete localthumbcache), see what happens after you drag that folder to your desktop and delete localthumbcache. (Don't save, though! Or test in a new game.)

Also, can you restore an earlier save and travel in that?

I do not have any mods or cc like I stated before. I've already deleted my localthumbcache. Currently if I try to load any of my save files one of three things happen. First I load the save and it takes me to the neighborhood and the house is empty and wants me to make a new family. Second the save file will load but once I go into CAS or travel my house and everything on my lot disappears. Third I load a save file and now my game crashes. New save or old save doesn't matter. Every single world and every single lot I try does not work. Also its presetting every house to Residential Rental even the ones I built before For Rent even if I manually change it in build mode. I have also completely removed my save file and tried without it and its still happening. Even if I download sims or a house off the gallery. My game is completely broken.

I'm going to record a video and show you from my computer because when I do those things it doesn't work for me so it may be something you can't duplicate I'll record just to make sure. I use norton 360. Honestly I have never had a problem before hence this being my first post. These problems only started two days after I bought for rent. I went a head and completely uninstalled my game from origin and am going to re-download and see if it's still happening. I will update you asap thank you so much for your help!

I have since checked and all problems are still happening. I used my geforce to record my screenplay and use the text box for cheats to communicate certain things I was doing. I have uploaded the video to this google drive so you can check it out.

I am now making my second post in an attempt to find some help. My first post was posted under Game and Mod/CC issues, I didn't realize there was multiple sections to post in so I've linked it below. Anyways I've gone through the endless loop of trying to contact support with no avail. Only two people even responded to my last post and only 1 of them actually tried helping and as of now they cant help. So I don't know what to do my game is completely unplayable. I don't use mods or cc so please don't assume that's the problem just because the forum I posted in and I've stated from the beginning I don't use mods/cc. The link to my original post is linked below. If anyone could help I'd appreciate it. Willing to pay someone at this point.

I do not see that as the main problem because even when I build the house on a normal residential lot it still disappears. I could deal with everything being a rental if it didn't disappear. And in that video at 2:55 when I placed the house from the gallery it did change and I did change it back to normal residential. If it stays that way I wouldn't know because after traveling or going into CAS it disappears the house. No I didn't change the name of my mods folder because I have never used mods I don't like them I didn't know this thread was more mod/cc issues. It 100% my fault I clicked the wrong one so I have since posted in both. I just tried changing the name of it and it didn't change anything. Thank you again for continuing to try and help me! Do you know how to get in touch with ea support if we can't get this fixed? Because I get stuck in the loop every time I try to make a case.
