Baby alien/spellcasters aging to toddlers crashes me

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Sony Playstation 4
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? I can't find it
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Everything but IL, GF, DU, Laundry Day, Bowling Night, Cool Kitchen, Perfect Patio and Luxury Party stuff packs.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Be forgetful and have your spellcaster marry an alien. >.< Have a baby.
What happens when the bug occurs? Well they had the most unusual twins I've ever seen, to start with. Firstborn was a lovely little alien baby, second was a lovely little human baby. Very strange, I've never had any of my many, MANY hybrid parents give birth to twins of 2 life states. When I age them up to toddlers all goes well, until I try to change their clothes or save my game. It crashes completely every single time. ☹️
What do you expect to see? No crashing. I want to see the CAS open up and let me change their (always horrid) random clothes. For the game to save instead of crash.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I noticed when aging them up (before the inevitable crash) that the alien baby grew up to be a hybrid alien, with human hair and clothing. Plus a little spellcaster book icon for her needs.

I really loved the totally fraternal nature of the twins (it happens IRL too, very cool) but they weren't as separate as I expected. I thought that the alien/spellcaster problem had been negated by spellcaster/alien couples having 1 spellcaster and 1 alien, thus separating the life states. But replaying the birth I found that it was highly unusual to get the twins I got, they all came as either alien or human twins but I never saw both again.

    @TygerNight Hybrids are still an issue on console. They shouldn't happen. There was a fix for PC that didn't fully save the issue but I think it did address the alien ones.

    Hybrids won't go back to normal after patching so the only option is a cheat to remove the hybrid issue. Not sure if you're up to cheating ?

    Well it would negate any trophies I might be able to earn on that save. ☹️ The parents (grandparents of the twins in question) are my best-achieving couple. 

    If I do choose to cheat out the spellcaster-ness from the alien baby, how would I do that?

    @TygerNight Actually, you should be able to just go to the spellcaster realm and opt out of being a spellcaster. Not being an alien is a bit more difficult.

    Go to a sage and they should be able to revert the spellcsater (unsure what the option is called)

    Actually I doubt I can do that... Leaving the lot will crash my game. ☹️

    It's called the Rite of Dissolution and boy I wish I'd un-spellcaster-ed my spellcaster before having kids. >.O

    It might be possible to invite a sage to my house and they'll still be able to do it though... *ponders*

    I've been thinking about what you suggested and it just hit me that it almost certainly wouldn't work. The spellcaster has to ask for the Rite of Dissolution for him/herself, and toddlers don't get any magical interactions... Not sure even a child could request that, possibly a teen but I don't know...

    @TygerNight Cheats it would be then .. but tbh,

    You need to remove the hidden traits for spellcaster occults.

    I'm not exactly sure which one and I have no idea how you would backup saves on Playstation but here are the cheats

    traits.Remove_trait Occult_WitchOccult (select the toddler)

    There's also these but I don't know if you need to remove them or not

    - Occult_WitchOccult_Manifested
    - Occult_WitchOccult_BloodlineStrong
    - Occult_WitchOccult_BloodlineWeak

    It doesn't matter if you remove something they don't have though

    I will definitely make a note of those codes and give them a try when I'm feeling a bit luckier than I have been of late. LOL

    @TygerNight I'm moving this to console tech as you are on console and hybrids still haven't been fixed at all.

    I would suggest to wait for the console patch and if you still get a NEW hybrid after that, use either of that threads, depending if it was by conversion or by birth.
