Birthday Event causes seasons holiday UI to disappear.

Ever since the latest event started the seasons Holiday UI isn't functioning correctly. The holiday will begin 90% of the time time but then the UI disappears. The event icon still remains however. From the Sims behaviour I think the Sims themselves still treat the day as the holiday (singing, pranks on prank day etc) but for me as the player I am unable to see what traditions each Sim has left to complete which on some holidays leads to a sad mood buff for hours because I was unable to know what they needed to do. I'm not a huge fan of these mobile events but if they are going to be regular occurrences moving forward then please address the issues that they add on top of current existing bugs. I would rather no event and no free items if it meant I'd be able use holidays from The seasons expansion pack that wasn't free and I've paid for.

P.S rain and snow inside is starting to irritate me please could you hot fix this?
