Cursor issue in sims 4 on XBOX ONE Dec. 2019

How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 1.20.101.2300
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Awesome Animal Hats DC, Life of the Party DC, and Up All Night DC.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Open game, New Game, start creating a sim.
What happens when the bug occurs? So I just downloaded the game. I obviously had to start a new game and when I started creating my sim I started off by customizing my personality traits and name and such. When I completed those I tried to customize my sims appearance (eyes, body shape, etc.). However, when I tried this my cursor just absolutely would not move over to the sim for me to make these customizations. The cursor would only move from the Sim icon for the personality to other three corners of my screen where other options were located.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see the cursor on the different areas of my sims body so that I can customize them. Otherwise this game was a waste of my money and time.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
