Game issues since installing Lovestruck expansion pack (XBox)

Hoping someone can help me resolve the issues I’m dealing with since installing Lovestruck. My sims can no longer pay their bills. I receive a notification of the amount due but if I try to click on the mailbox or pay through the phone there is no option. My sims also keep disappearing. I can still control them but they’re invisible. I keep resetting them which works for a while until it ultimately happens again. The last issue I’m running into is the dating system is broken. Anytime I try to initiate a date or interact with someone I don’t know I’m unable to access the full social menu. The only options I have are to tell a group story or give a funny gift.  This happened all of a sudden for sims I have a relationship with and also strangers. I’ve tried restarting my game multiple times and uninstalling/ reinstalling the pack and nothing has changed. I’m playing on XBox so I’m not sure if there’s anything else I can try. Thanks in advance!
