Issue: Missing Content and now missing data

@blockhart93 what I would do is, before you start your game go to Manage Game and Add-ons by selecting Sims 4 on your console home screen using the menu button (3 lines) then go to your Sims 4 content (see attached) and uninstall and reinstall the game and add-ons again.

Then, before you play in future make sure all the packs are checked with a tick in the box next to them and if any boxes are not ticked, tick them again and select Save Changes for them to install again. That way you won't get that message and can safely load your game without any items being removed.

I had this problem for a while specifically with Moschino uninstalling itself. Xbox Support couldn't explain why it was happening though. But eventually it did stop unchecking itself.

I tried just with uninstalling and reinstalling the packs first because I didn’t want to lose my saves by uninstalling the whole game.

As I played today, I didn’t experience any trouble with the content being removed. I didn’t get that error message either.

Im going to continue to test your possible solution out this week with different saves to see if the issue’s been fixed.

I'm having the same problem except with mine I figured out the "missing data" is because my cats and dogs expansion pack isn't working for some reason. I went from never having an issue to this real fast. I haven't done anything to it so im not sure what's happening. 

It says on my Xbox one that cats and dogs is installed but it's not showing up on my game at all. 

Update: I'm uninstalling and reinstalling my sims game right now so I will give an update after an hour if it had worked or not. 

Update: well what the flip. Soo now the cats and dogs expansion game is completely gone. I have no idea what to do anymore and I'm nervous because I think I just lost the cats and dogs.

Final update: um so I figured out my issue and I'm about to sound real dumb here but turns out someone from my family removed my game disc from the Xbox so that is why cats and dogs was missing. Sorry for the roller coaster and now I know what to do in the future!

After the first time of actually uninstalling the main game and all expansions, everything seemed to be working fine again. But, I gave a sim a makeover with the platform from the celebrity expansion pack. Right After I finished their makeover, the “missing data” notice reappeared! So, I thought the data glitch issue might have something to do with create-a-sim mode. 

So, I uninstalled the main game and expansions again. But, im seeing the notice again and  having an issue with moschino stuff as the “missing data” specifically 😞

Im so frustrated and disappointed with the game. Hopefully there’s an update an fix to the expansion packs giving people issue. 

That's really strange indeed. It's usually more of a console problem rather than a game problem from the conversation I've had with Xbox Support. I'd maybe try reaching out to them and see if they have any suggestions.

I’m having the same issue as of now & I got the same msgs on my ps5.. I’ve uninstalled & reinstalled & updated everything & when my add ons aren't on I’m able to play but when they are on I get stuck on manage worlds 

Im sorry this is happening in your game too. We’re on different platforms having the same problem so something is definitely just wrong with the game itself. I will reach out to xbox like suggested to see if they have any helpful suggestions. You may be able to do the same with ps5 but sims 4 has to fix this. It makes the game too dysfunctional to play. 

I noticed mine got stuck in manage worlds too when I started removing uninstalling. I hadn’t realized that the system didn’t reinstall everything that was in my queue. The problem possibly could’ve been because my household stays in a town that comes with expansion packs. But, I just didn’t save and got off the game. Restarted my console, reloaded the game and that issue resolved. Have you tried this?
