On Xbox One I need to create a new save after every update!

Why is this happening this much??

I know I've not played in year but this is craziness!

Last time it was happening to a file i tried to edit a few days ago. Granted it was a save from last march. So I restarted a new save. 

Now today's issue is my game was running fine with the new save, I closed it to update & now after selecting to load today's save file, I can load in to the map & select the Sim to play in the household which is only 1 & that one Sims on another generic lot they don't own.... when I select to play her, the loading screen comes & never ends, the plumbob just turns.... after 30 minutes I hard reset & the issue is the same.... I've restarted while offline & the issue still persists and the only fix is for me to erase yet another file & scrap everything I just redid.
