Sims 4 not letting me create new saves

Hi. So i got the Sims 4 about 2 years ago for my PS4. I didn't really play it or enjoy it that much (i thought it would come with Cats and Dogs, turns out it wasn't out yet and would cost 40 dollars...

    Sims 4 on console only has 10 save slots maximum regardless of how much space is free on the console hard drive, just the way it's designed I'm afraid. You'll have to either delete older saves or save over others if you want to start a new game.

Im having the same problem on xbox. I don't know how long it's been going on with my system but it very annoying.
